HOW TO MAKE MAGNESIUM OIL:
To make magnesium chloride powder into magnesium oil to apply to your body, add 50 grams magnesium powder to 50mls warm drinkable distilled water. Store in a spray bottle for ease of use. Apply to the body (legs, feet, arms, tummy, back) as needed. Inner thighs, inner arms and under arms are great locations for absorption too. This will be a very strong 50% mix. Many magnesium oils on the market contain around 30% magnesium chloride so you can experiment with this mix.
Magnesium Oil may sting a little the first couple of times although the skin quickly adapts. You can dilute the solution by 1-1 with pure water if necessary. If the skin is sticky or itchy after use, simply wash off after about 25 minutes. The benefits will have been achieved by then.
Magnesium Oil is not an oil but a concentrated mix of Magnesium Chloride suspended in water. The liquid feels like oil resulting in the name magnesium oil.
Distilled drinkable water is available from supermarkets in the water aisle. Moore or Noble are two brands. Cost is about $4 for 5 litres.
HOW TO MAKE SUPER MAGNESIUM WITH MSM:
Make a super pain relieving mix by adding 15% MSM to your Magnesium Oil.
DIRECTIONS: Mix equal parts magnesium powder to boiled distilled water and add MSM. It's that easy. Example: 50mls Magnesium powder in 50mls water add 15 grams (3 heaped teaspoons) MSM.
To calculate the amount of MSM to add: 50 grams Mag chloride powder plus 50mls equals 100mls liquid. We are looking for around 15% MSM so 15grams is the amount in this case or 500g + 500 ml + 150g MSM for a litre mix.
Store in a spray bottle for ease of use.
TAKE MAGNESIUM CHLORIDE POWDER ORALLY:
1/2 Teaspoon in a glass of water or juice once or twice a day. You may like to start with 1/4 teaspoon and work up to 1/2 or 1 teaspoon a day. Some people may develop loose stools when too much is taken in a dose and this is why we recommend working up to a full dose and establish your ideal dose.
TREAT A HEADACHE WITH MAGNESIUM CHLORIDE POWDER:
TIP! Have a headache you can't move? Add a few tablespoons of Magnesium chloride powder to a hot bath and soak for 20 minutes. You will also enjoy a peaceful sleep afterwards.
USE MAGNESIUM CHLORIDE POWDER IN A FOOT SOAK:
Use 1/4 cup Magnesium Chloride Powder added to very warm water in a foot spa or bucket of water. The solution may be reused but you will have to reheat it. Soak you feet for 20- 25 minutes. You can use either Magnesium chloride powder or magnesium oil you have mixed. If using Magnesium oil mixed at a 50/50
rate use half a cup in very warm water.
