New Age Natural Moisturiser with Sunscreen is a variation of our regular New Age Moisturiser. Zinc reflects the sun's rays and is the ingredient used for sun protection. New Age is a Moisturiser with Sunscreen which is much lighter to use than a regular sunscreen and much better for your face.

Perfect for those looking for a good moisturiser with SPF 15, broad spectrum UVA and UVB protection. Great help for Rosacea sufferers and acne prone skin types.

WHY USE ZINC?

Zinc reflects UV rays, both UVA and UVB, where chemical sunscreens absorb the UV rays. Chemical sunscreens can create free radicals on the skin which at the very least can accelerate ageing of the skin and that means wrinkles. Chemical sunscreens are notorious for causing breakouts so we would never consider using them at MiSMo.

Zinc is a super calming ingredient which is excellent for Rosacea, acne or blemish prone problems. Healing power is also increased. Those with Rosacea, blemishes, eczema or any skin issues have a compromised outer skin barrier which needs to be strengthened so a return to good skin health can occur.

Regular sunscreen can be too heavy or oily on the face where New Age with Sunscreen is a light, matt finish cream, an ideal base for mineral makeup.

SPF 15 Did You Know?

SPF 15 offers 93% sun protection.

Many Australians are surprised to learn that SPF50+ only offers marginally better protection than SPF30. SPF50+ filters out 98% of UVB radiation, while SPF30 blocks out 96.7% of UVB.

SPF50+ sunscreen still needs to be applied liberally as with any other sunscreen. While we recommend a high SPF for beach or prolonged outdoor activities if you wear makeup, especially mineral powder foundation your face will be well protected by New Age with sunscreen and Mineral Makeup.

ZINC - a safe natural mineral which has been used for decades for sun protection. Earlier forms of zinc used to leave the skin with a white sheen but this is a micro (not nano) zinc that quickly becomes clear on the skin.
HYALURONIC ACID - plumps and smooths skin (magic!)
VITAMIN A (Retinyl Palmitate) - helps keep pores clear and strengthens skin

Use every morning after cleansing and treating (Rejuvenating Gel or Blemish Gel or Cell Soother - whichever you use). For oily skin types New Age will be fine for evening use too. For dry or mature skin types Anti-Wrinkle Cream or Nourishing Cream will be more suitable at night.
