Wondering what a peptide is?

A peptide is a compound consisting of two or more amino acids linked in a chain.

Meanwhile, Amino acids are essentially the building blocks of protein. There are 20 amino acids used in our body. When you link together a few of these amino acids, you form a peptide and subsequently when you link thousands of them together, you get a protein. Makes sense?

So what exactly does MATRIXYL SYNTHE 6 ® do?

Put simply, it stimulates major constituents of the skin matrix including Collagen and Hyaluronic Acid. In clinical tests, Matrixyl Synthe 6 ® reduced the surface area occupied by deep wrinkles by 44.9% on average. It encouraged skin tissue to restore itself to a more youthful strength while promoting deep tissue repair. Collagen and elastin production was accelerated, skin appeared softer and firmer, and elasticity was significantly improved.

Interestingly, in 2015 Matrixyl was the winner of the 25 Years of Innovation Award which recognises products that have had the greatest impact on the Personal Care ingredients market in the last quarter-century. Matrixyl was considered as a breakthrough in the Cosmetic industry as voted for by over a thousand show visitors and a panel of industry experts.
