What's the difference between MISMO's Rejuvenating Serum and A-C-E Vitamin C Serum?
We are often asked at MISMO what the difference is between the two treatment serums we stock. Here it is in a nutshell;
They are both serums which means they are concentrated, active anti-ageing products. Rejuvenating Serum is "water based" and contains no oil. A-C-E Vitamin C Serum is an oil and contains no water.
The skin has many layers including a lipid (oil) and a jelly (water for ease of description) layer. Rejuvenating Serum works in the jelly layer replacing dwindling supplies of Hyaluronic Acid, essential to collagen and elastin.
Rejuvenating Serum fills spaces that cause sagging and make lines so visible. As a gel it contains no oil and is always used straight after cleansing. Rejuvenating Serum penetrates the skin easily, but needs to be sealed with a moisturiser of some kind. Why? Rejuvenating Serum does its work below the surface.
A-C-E Vitamin C Serum helps stimulate collagen and elastin. The missing link from these is Hyaluronic Acid and this is a critical part of the success of using both serums. It is a little recognised fact so now you're ahead of most people in your knowledge of serums.
A-C-E Vitamin C Serum is Vitamin C with vitamins A & E presented in a light oil formulation. It is a super anti-ageing helper too. The skin thickens, smooths and has a brighter appearance. A-C-E Vitamin C Serum also protects the skin from UV damage and helps repair damage already done. This occurs in the oil part of cells and is accepted readily by the skin as friendly.
The two products both work on improving the skin but in very different ways and together posses powerful anti-ageing properties.
For a complete anti-aging treatment, you could also give your skin a boost from the inside too, by incorporating a daily dose of MSM a source of Organic Sulphur, which is also known as the "beauty mineral" and is great for hair, skin and nails.
