I have not been a primer user until recently. The first time I used Mismo primer I wasn't too sure as it felt like nothing I'd used before. The feeling was like silky oil although there is no oil in the product. After applying serum and moisturiser and allowing a little time for them to absorb, I used 1 pump of primer which was plenty for my whole face and neck. Again a little time for this to "dry", not sure if you're supposed to do this but it works for me. Skin is then like silk. Next I use either the Mineral powder or the pressed powder. The results are just beautiful. Skin is so soft and smooth and a much better finish. I tried a friend's Chanel primer but mismo was way better and no doubt a lower price.
Excellent Product
I can only endorse all the previous rave reviews about this product. It really is fabulous. I have always had a low tolerance for any makeup that feels heavy or sticky, especially in humid weather conditions, that amplifies lines rather than softens them. This product is as smooth as silk, like not having anything on my face, yet very subtly doing the job it is assigned to do. Together with the Mineral BB Cream, it’s definitely a winner.
I have everything going on with my skin - uneven tone, combo oily/dry patches, breakouts, and at 44 years old my skin is also mature. Since using this, my makeup wears all day (11 hours) without needing a touch up, and any blemishes seem to heal up in record time.
It has a soft satin-y feel on the skin and dries very quickly.
I've tried this primer with 3 brands of foundation and it works amazingly with all (not just Mismo.. although it is my fave), and exceeds any other primers I've tried. It's prompted me to start adding other Mismo products too, after seeing the benefits to my skin.
...I also like blending this with a bit of foundation if I need a freshen up and don't have time to re-do my whole makeup base.
Love this primer under foundation. Very moisturising and feels great and is a good base to apply make up to.
