How to Use
Oral Use
Start with ¼ teaspoon dissolved in water or juice.
Increase gradually to ½ to 1 teaspoon per day (equivalent to 600mg elemental magnesium).
Taking too much at once may cause loose stools, so increase slowly to find your ideal dose.
Topical Use - Magnesium Oil
Dissolve 50g magnesium flakes in 50ml warm water.
Store in a spray bottle and apply to the arms, legs, or abdomen before bed for relaxation and muscle relief.
For a supercharged magnesium oil, add 15g MSM (3 teaspoons) to the mixture to enhance absorption.
Can I use Magnesium Chloride flakes as a bath soak?
Yes, but we recommend using our Magnesium Bath Flakes instead, as this food-grade Magnesium Chloride is better suited for oral use or making magnesium oil.
How should I store Magnesium Chloride flakes?
Keep in acool, dry place with the lid tightly sealed. Magnesium is hydroscopic, meaning it naturally absorbs moisture from the air, so if it appears to "melt," this is normal and does not affect its effectiveness.
Expected it to be refreshing beverage especially chilled with a slice of lemon. Tastes awful. Seems to offer same effects (post exercise joint and muscular pain discomfort) as other MISMO magnesium products. Also assists with bowel regularity (which is not a problem for me so I need to be careful how much I use). For my needs, I will probably lean towards other MISMO Magnesium products over the Magnesuim Chloride. But it was interesting to try and assess.

Magnesium Chloride made such a difference to my health a day or two after I first started taking it a couple of months ago. Firstly I am sleeping so much better - no leg or foot cramps and secondly it keeps me regular. I take a teaspoon in 1/2 glass of water every night just before bed. I am feeling so much healthier.

I have been using mismo magnesium for over a month and have experienced a marked improvement in my joints, especially my right wrist and thumb.
